Fairfield Center Stage (FCS), a community theater group, will present a bingo fundraiser hosted by popular local drag queen, Loosey LaDuca, on Sunday Sep 19 at 3pm @ Burr Mansion tent, 739 Old Post Rd in downtown Fairfield.
Part drag show and part bingo game, hostess Loosey LaDuca will make you laugh, sing for you, and try to help you win prizes along the way! All tickets are $25 and include 6 games, a game card for each game, dauber and one door prize drawing ticket (must be present to win). There will also be concessions for sale, the opportunity to purchase extra game cards, as well as door prizes and other raffles. Prizes include baskets and gift cards to local restaurants.
About the host: Loosey LaDuca is CT’s Drag Superstar! She has been entertaining audiences all over New England for over 10 years. You may have seen her in Priscilla Queen Of The Desert, or on various stages throughout the state. She is a master of celebrity illusions, stand up comedian, singer, and more!
All proceeds support FCS’ 2021/22 season which includes: “Mamma Mia!”, All Together Now (gala concert), “A Christmas Carol Experience”, “The Color Purple”, and “The SpongeBob Musical.”
Event policies: Advanced purchase is required for this event. The venue is an outdoor, covered, partially walled tent with outside fresh air circulation.Seating will consist of folding chairs at tables that seat up to 14, and seating will be mixed (patrons may be seated alongside other patrons). Patrons will be seated with their party, all seating will be assigned by the producers. Patrons are welcome to purchase a table for 8 if they would like to have the entire table for their group. Seating is limited to 120 patrons at each seating. This event is intended for mature audiences due to adult language and situational comedy. Parental discretion is advised, minimum recommended age 16+. The event will occur rain or shine (with the exception of extreme weather), and the expected running time is approx 100 minutes.
Concessions will be available and include snacks as well as wine, sodas, and water available for a suggested donation. Indoor restrooms available, as well as free vicinity parking @ Fairfield Independence Hall (aka Town Hall Annex) for GPS: 725 Old Post Rd, or on Old Post Rd in front of Burr Mansion, 739 Old Post Rd.. Maximum audience at each seating of this event will be 120. Patrons will check in at the entrance and show their phone with order confirmation email. No printed paper needed/accepted, as this is a contactless event. Seating begins 30 minutes before showtime. If you are showing any signs of illness, please do not attend this event. Fairfield Center Stage, a community theater group led by Artistic Director Christy McIntosh-Newsom and Executive Producer Eli Newsom, utilizes local artists and staff from Fairfield County. Inspired by the concept of environmental theatre, we aim to put Fairfield “center stage,” by highlighting several of the town’s unique venues. Fairfield Center Stage's mission is to lead a culturally diverse collective of local artists to provide a quality, accessible, and affordable theatre arts experience for the community, by the community.
